The first app was the 'VW Polo Challenge', now Volkswagen have, with the help of Fish Laps, introduced the Scirocco racing game app.
In it you drive the 'Scirocco R 24 hour Challenge'. The app come for free via Apple App Store and is available for iPhone and iPod Touch.
Don't know the Scirocco? Well the sleek new car has just been revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show on the 15th of September, and the app was launched the same day.

VW Polo Challenge was such a great success. The app was downloaded 1.8 million times, and played on average of five minutes per session and an average of four uses per user. Although perhaps somewhat intangible, this amounts to a stunning 600.000 hours of consumer engagement. Let's see if they can repeat the success!
