Walkers SMS Vote Reaches Over One Million Entries

'Do Us A Flavour' and vote for the new crisp flavour by SMS. With the promise of a £50,000 price and a 1% cut of all future sales, Walkers latest mobile marketing campaign has been hugely successful.

The campaign has exceeded all expectations as the public is interacting with the brand and voting for one of six flavours put forward by a panel of celebrity chefs.

Miranda Sambles, marketing manager for Walkers Crisp explain why SMS was chosen as the main sales promotion vehicle; "the benefits of offering a free SMS vote to all consumers as the ideal engagement tool to incentivise interaction."

The winning flavour will be on shelves in the coming months. Let's just hope it's not Fish & Chips!
