Paris tourist maps, distributed at airports, hotels and tourist offices, now include QR Codes.
The free maps are published by Europe's largest department store Galeries Lafayette, who together with mobile marketing agency Nexence added the QR codes to the latest edition.

Tourists scan the codes, with their mobile phones, to get connected to the relevant mobile websites, such as the Cinéaqua and Center of National Monuments.
Needless to say that this is a great way to use QR codes, and it will undoubtedly give users a much more interactive and rich experience.
Pocket Beatz has a great feature encouraging easy word-of-mouth, as it reads the user's phone book and asks them to distribute it and spread the message.
