Starting of with a blank rugby shirt, polo, sweater, or jacket from a number of designs, it let's users customize their own Ralph Lauren clothes by allowing them to add letters, crests and football-themed patches.

You either go on to purchase the designed clothes or share it with friends via Facebook or with the Ralph Lauren community by adding it to the apps catalogue. The quick share features are great and undoubtedly help towards word of mouth distribution of the app and brand support.

The app sounds almost too good to be true and it could easily have gone wrong for the brand.
