txt4ever News Submission Guidelines

The news service is an independent source of information on mobile marketing and relevant subjects. We are interested in hearing about mobile marketing campaigns, especially where there are figures to show the response or impact of such a campaign. We take a broad view of what constitutes mobile marketing - from customer relationship initiatives to more conventional advertising campaigns.

We are also interested in hearing about developments in technology, applications or handsets, as well as mobile operator initiatives and policies from regulators or associations.

For example, changes in the way location services are charged, the integration of QR readers into handsets or the launch of a new Bluetooth unit are all highly relevant to mobile marketing.

We aim to be non-denominational and welcome submissions from all sources, including advertising agencies, brands or technology providers. We are also interested in comment pieces.

For any submission please include the following:

  • Heading
  • Dateline
  • Text (around 500 words max)
  • Links - we will include up to three links relevant to the article content
  • Sources - where you are quoting sources of research, please include as much detail as possible (eg Company X, in XYZ report published on X date). When quoting people, please include their name, company or organisation and title (eg Joe Blogs, head of mobile for XYZ agency).
  • Your details - these will not be published except in comment pieces, but we will need your name, company or organisation and title (where relevant) and a day time contact number (your number and email will not be published at all).

Please note that we will not publish stories of technologies that are only prototypes ('vapour ware') or campaigns that have not yet launched.

We do not guarantee to publish submissions. If you are unsure please contact us before submitting a story to see if it is suitable or relevant.
