The UK Royal Navy and the Armed Forces are regular users of mobile marketing. In the past they have used Bluetooth marketing and developed SMS campaigns as part of their recruitment strategy.

Interaction and the use of cutting edge technology has been the key focus of campaigns over the last couple of year. The iPhone app is an obvious next step. This campaign aims to target tech-savvy prospects and it allows users to experience the life of a Navy Engineer Officer. It includes an aspect of gaming as it challenges players with 5 interactive missions.
