Mini owners are being urged to use the new MINI Road Assist App should they be in need of roadside assistance.
The app, which is available for free, enable users to request help without much effort. A great initiative especially for those with a new MINI.

It includes a GPS capability, which automatically report the location of the car. Users can easily select the kind of service they require from a list (e.g. battery, tire, fuel, lock out etc. ) and the app quickly dispatch the information to the MINI service centre.
There's no need to worry that the information has not been submitted. A reference number and ongoing information is sent back to the app, when help is on the way.
This app is not only a very cool gadget; it is likely to be very handy in stressed situations during any incidence.
UK customers will have to wait a while before they can use this service - the app is so far only available in the US for iPhone and BlackBerry users.
The app and more information is available from www.allstateroadsideservices.com/mini/
