Danish tourists pay for goat's corn using SMS
On a recent trip to the Danish amusement park Sommerland Sjælland, I came across a funny way to use SMS premium payments.
The park's sheep is a great attraction for small children (and some of us adults) who are allowed to touch the goats - and feed them with corn paid by SMS.
To release a portion of corn (equivalent to 50p's worth) from the goat-food-wending-machine we were simply instructed by a sign (see below) to text the word food (mad) to a shortcode.

What a great idea! It's really engaging and simple to use and it works perfectly in this outdoor space where people almost certainly have their mobile with them. The park saves having to employ staff sell corn - and the goats seem very pleased too.
