Mark Brill founded Formation, a digital agency in 1992, which has been delivering mobile marketing campaigns since 1993, and is the parent company of the messaging platform, txt4ever. He is currently Lead Partner at innovation consultancy, Brand Emotivity and Senior Lecturer in Future Media at BCU.
Through Formation, Mark has developed a number of services for mobile, mobile CRM and business applications and continues to work on projects for a range of clients from government, corporate and business sector. He is continuing to deliver innvoation and ideation in the challenge thorugh global consultancy, Brand Emotivity.
Mark has been sitting on the Direct Marketing Association's Mobile Marketing Council and as chair since March 2009. Using hands on experience Mark assists the council in promoting mobile as a marketing channel, working with brands, agencies, regulators and operators, and to develop best practice guidelines for marketers. He is also a trustee of the DM Foundation, and Category Chair of the 2012 DMA Awards.
Mark has gained a reputation as an insightful and down to earth strategist, working with brands and agencies to development implement mobile media. With nearly 18 years experience in digital marketing, Mark brings an enormous breadth of experience covering every aspect of the sector. He is an enthusiastic speaker at industry conferences and events, as well as having an excellent track record of lecturing on mobile marketing for the Institute of Direct Marketing, the Internet Advertising Bureau and universities in Birmingham and Manchester.
